About Patricia
Patricia G. Williams is the daughter of a maid and longshoreman who was born in the segregated south in the 1940s. When asked about her extraordinary entrepreneurial success, she always begins here, as her fundamental belief is that you cannot get very far when you don’t acknowledge how far you have come. During her ten-plus years working in social services and her 30-plus year career as a franchisee, she remained motivated to succeed, focused on her raising her daughters and passionate about serving her community.
In 2022, Patricia’s daughters, Nicole Harper Rawlins and Kerri Harper-Howie, founded the Patricia G. Williams Family Foundation as a tribute to Patricia’s legacy of service. Patricia’s humility and heart of gratitude and giving are the bedrock of who she is. These inspired character traits have been passed on to her daughters and will serve as one of her most lasting legacies.
